From Every Day to Elf Slay 🎄✨
I’m taking a few days off between Christmas and New Year’s to freshen up the boudoir bedroom — new colors, new textures, and a slightly different vibe I’ve been excited to play with.
Whenever I change a space, I like to spend a little time in it first. Get a feel for the light, see how the colors photograph, and make sure everything feels just right before clients step in.
So naturally… I grabbed a test subject.
Meet my Boudoir Elf.
She very bravely stepped in to help me test the room and immediately understood the assignment. No nerves. No overthinking. Just full-on confidence and commitment to the pose. Honestly, she might be a natural.
These photos are just for fun, but they’re also a good reminder that creativity doesn’t have to be serious all the time. Sometimes you just have to play, laugh a little, and see what happens.
And if an elf can show up, strike a pose, and slay without a second thought… maybe we can all take that energy into the new year.
Also — she still doesn’t have a name.
I’m running a little naming contest inside my ladies-only VIP Facebook group, and I need help deciding what to call her. If you want to throw your hat in the ring (and see some extra behind-the-scenes fun), I’d love to have you join us over there.
The group is a relaxed, supportive space where I share studio updates, sneak peeks, client stories, and real conversations about confidence and self-love — plus the occasional ridiculous moment like this one.
The boudoir room refresh is coming together beautifully, and I can’t wait to welcome clients into the space in the new year. Until then, enjoy a little behind-the-scenes silliness from the studio — courtesy of one very confident elf.
