You’re Never Left Wondering What to Do
How I Coach Every Boudoir Client
One of the biggest fears I hear from clients before a boudoir session is, “I don’t know how to pose.”
That’s completely normal—and it’s also why coaching is at the heart of everything I do.
You are never expected to walk into your session knowing how to move, where to put your hands, or what your face should be doing. That’s my job.
I Don’t Just Tell You— I Show You
During your session, I guide you every step of the way. I don’t simply say, “Turn your shoulder” or “Arch your back.” I physically demonstrate the pose myself so you can see exactly how it should feel and look. Then I help you ease into it in a way that feels natural and flattering for your body.
This approach takes the pressure off. You’re not guessing. You’re following clear, supportive direction—and that’s when confidence really starts to show.
Expression Matters Just as Much as Posing
A beautiful pose means nothing without the right expression. I have little tricks I use throughout the session to help you soften your face, relax your jaw, connect with the camera, or bring out a sultry or playful look—without forcing anything.
You’ll never be told to “just be sexy.” Instead, I coach you into expressions that feel authentic and effortless, even if you’ve never been photographed like this before.
This Is Backed by Training and Experience
I didn’t learn how to pose women overnight. My formal training began in 2011 at my very first boudoir workshop in San Diego with The Boudoir Divas, and I’ve continued refining my skills ever since.
With nearly 15 years of experience photographing women of all shapes, sizes, and comfort levels, I know how to adjust poses for real bodies—not just models. I know how to highlight your favorite features, minimize what you’re self-conscious about, and create images that feel powerful instead of posed.
You Don’t Have to “Know How” to Do Boudoir
You just have to show up.
My role is to coach, demonstrate, encourage, and guide you through the entire experience so you never feel awkward or unsure. Most clients tell me they walked in nervous—and walked out feeling confident, proud, and surprised by how natural everything felt.
That’s not an accident. That’s experience, intention, and a whole lot of heart behind the camera.
If you’re worried you won’t know what to do in front of the camera, I promise—you’re in very good hands.
